In the market there is a clear trend towards more complex materials which exhibit superior and often multiple functionalities. Examples are battery materials, printing inks, catalysts, cosmetics or pharmaceutical formulations. In chemical industry modeling and simulation gains increasing importance for faster development of innovative products and processes.
