Guided by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and hosted by the International Panel of Mesoscience (IPM), the 2023 East Lake Mesoscience Forum will be held in Beijing on November 23, 2023. The forum is co-organized by the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), the State Key Laboratory of Mesoscience Science and Engineering, and the Chinese Society of Particuology, with the Beijing Association for Science and Technology serving as a co-organizer.

Themed "Science Supporting Sustainable Development Goals," the forum aims to apply the principles of mesoscience to analyze the multi-level complexities of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to promote the application of mesoscience in areas such as climate change and human health. Concuhhently, a Youth Seminar on Sustainable Development will be held, providing a platform for participants to exchange insights on the progress of fundamental mesoscience research and the development of multi-scale structural analysis software.
